The UAF Pre-Medical Society is made up of every kind of student, and we all are going into different fields of health care. BUT we all have the same goal of getting involved in the community, educating others, and helping one another to succeed in life.
Our priorities are to educate each other, the UAF campus and the community about health care issues (see Speakers); to be involved on local, national and global levels (see Projects); and to provide materials, advising, and support to our fellow students that are headed into the allied health (see Student Materials).
We are AMSA (American Medical Student Association) affiliated. They are a great resource for us to use whether it be getting ideas for our next project, funding, or going to their yearly conferences to learn more about health care on the national and global levels. To learn more about them see AMSA. |
